Xtide 40mg Capsule contains enzalutamide, an active ingredient classified as an androgen receptor inhibitor. It is prescribed for men with prostate cancer, particularly in the following situations:

When conventional treatments that lower testosteroneβ€”such as hormonal therapy or surgical removal of the testiclesβ€”do not fully control the cancer.

In metastatic prostate cancer, where the disease has spread beyond the prostate but still responds to testosterone-lowering treatments.

In non-metastatic prostate cancer that is sensitive to castration (surgical removal of the testicles), but carries a high risk of metastasis or shows biochemical recurrence.

Precautions and Contraindications:

Do not take Xtide 40mg if you are allergic to enzalutamide or any other ingredients in the capsule.

This medicine is not recommended for children or adolescents under 18 years of age.

Men should use effective contraception during treatment and for three months after completion, as the medicine may harm a developing fetus. Discuss contraceptive options with your doctor if your partner is pregnant or planning pregnancy.

Bone density monitoring is recommended during treatment.
