Cabozanib 60mg Tablet

Cabozanib 60mg is an antineoplastic medication with the active ingredient Cabozantinib, classified as a tyrosine kinase inhibitor. In adults, it is used to treat:

Advanced kidney cancer (often combined with Nivolumab)

Locally advanced or metastatic differentiated thyroid cancer

Liver cancer when Sorafenib is no longer effective

This medication is not recommended for individuals under 18 years of age.

Contraindications and Precautions
Do not take Cabozanib 60mg if you are allergic to Cabozantinib or any of the tablet’s ingredients. Before starting treatment, inform your doctor if you have:

Liver disease

Inflammatory bowel disease

High blood pressure or heart disease

Diarrhea

History of blood clots in the legs or significant bleeding

Aneurysm or tears in blood vessel walls

Also, notify your physician if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or concerned about fertility. Effective contraception should be used during treatment and for at least four months after the last dose.

Additional Precautions

Inform your doctor of any thyroid problems; thyroid function tests are recommended before starting treatment.

Notify your physician if you have recently undergone surgery, including dental procedures, within the last month.

Avoid grapefruit or grapefruit juice, as they may increase the amount of medicine in your blood.
