Caberz NB 60 mg Tablet – Product Information

Caberz NB 60 mg Tablet is an anti-cancer (antineoplastic) medication that contains Cabozantinib as its active ingredient. It belongs to a class of medicines known as tyrosine kinase inhibitors, which help slow or stop the growth of cancer cells.

In adults, Caberz NB 60 mg Tablet is prescribed to treat:

Advanced kidney cancer (renal cell carcinoma), often used in combination with Nivolumab

Locally advanced or metastatic differentiated thyroid cancer

Liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma) when treatment with Sorafenib is no longer effective

This medication is not recommended for patients under 18 years of age.

Warnings and Precautions

Do not take Caberz NB 60 mg Tablet if you are allergic to Cabozantinib or any of its ingredients.

Before starting treatment, inform your doctor if you have:

Liver problems

Inflammatory bowel disease

High blood pressure

Heart disease

Ongoing or severe diarrhea

You should also notify your healthcare provider if you have a history of:

Blood clots in the legs

Serious bleeding

Aneurysm (weakening or swelling of blood vessels)

Tears or damage to blood vessel walls

If you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or think you may be pregnant, consult your doctor before using this medicine. Effective contraception should be used during treatment and for at least four months after stopping therapy. Discuss any fertility-related concerns with your doctor.

Before Beginning Treatment

Inform your doctor if you have any thyroid disorders. Thyroid function tests should be performed before starting this medication.

Tell your physician if you have recently undergone surgery, including dental procedures, within the past month.

It acts against a protein called receptor tyrosine kinases and interferes with cell signaling, ultimately stopping the growth and spread of cancer cells. Cazanat 40mg is indicated alone or in combination with Nivolumab.

Interaction of Caberz NB 60mg Tablet with other drugs

Inform your doctor about any prescribed medications, over-the-counter medicines, nutritional or vitamin supplements, and herbal products you take or have taken before the treatment. Certain medications such as antibiotics, St, John's Wort, Aliskiren and other medicine may interact with Cazanat 40mg and can cause undesirable side effects.
