Introduction to Rucaza 300mg Tablet

Rucaza 300 mg Tablet contains rucaparib, an anticancer medication classified as a PARP (poly ADP-ribose polymerase) inhibitor. It is prescribed as maintenance therapy for certain types of ovarian cancer, fallopian tube cancer, and primary peritoneal cancer in adults whose disease has recurred but has previously responded fully or partially to chemotherapy.

This medication is also used in patients with specific BRCA gene mutations who have already received at least two prior chemotherapy treatments. Additionally, it may be given as maintenance therapy immediately following chemotherapy that has successfully reduced tumor size.

Do not take Rucaza 300 mg Tablet if you are allergic to rucaparib or any of its other ingredients. This medicine can reduce blood cell counts, so your doctor will recommend blood tests before starting treatment and regularly (usually monthly) throughout therapy.

Inform your doctor if you experience nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or abdominal pain, as this medicine can affect the digestive system. Rucaza 300 mg Tablet is not recommended for children or adolescents under 18 years of age.

Tell your healthcare provider if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, suspect you may be pregnant, or are planning to become pregnant while on this medication. Women of childbearing potential should use reliable contraception during treatment, as advised by their doctor.
