Introduction to Bdparib 300mg Tablet

Bdparib 300 mg tablet contains rucaparib as its active ingredient. It is an anticancer medication belonging to the class of drugs known as PARP (poly ADP-ribose polymerase) inhibitors. This medicine is used as maintenance therapy to help sustain the benefits of previous treatments in adults with recurrent ovarian cancer, fallopian tube cancer, or primary peritoneal cancer who have achieved a complete or partial response to earlier chemotherapy.

Bdparib is also prescribed for the treatment of certain cancers in patients with specific genetic (BRCA) mutations who have already undergone at least two prior chemotherapy regimens. Additionally, it may be used as maintenance therapy immediately after chemotherapy in cases where the tumor has shown shrinkage.

Do not take Bdparib 300 mg tablet if you are allergic to rucaparib or any of the other ingredients in the formulation. This medication may cause reduced blood cell counts, so your healthcare provider will recommend blood tests before starting treatment and then regularly, usually on a monthly basis, throughout therapy.

Inform your doctor if you experience nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or abdominal pain during treatment, as this medicine may affect the digestive system. Bdparib 300 mg tablet is not recommended for children under 18 years of age.
