Introduction to Palbace 100mg Tablet

Palbace 100mg Tablet is a targeted cancer therapy containing the active ingredient palbociclib, which belongs to a class of medicines called cyclin-dependent kinase (CDK) inhibitors. It is used to treat hormone receptor-positive, HER2-negative advanced or metastatic breast cancer (cancer that has spread to other parts of the body). This medicine is usually given in combination with other anticancer medications.

About cancer: Cancer occurs when cells grow and multiply in an uncontrolled and abnormal way.

Common side effects: Palbace 100mg may cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, fatigue, hair thinning or loss, dry skin, rash, infections, nosebleeds, reduced appetite, low blood cell counts, swelling of lips or mouth, changes in taste, dry eyes, blurred vision, and increased tearing. Notify your doctor if any of these effects are persistent or bothersome.

Precautions before use:

Tell your healthcare provider if you are allergic to Palbace 100mg or any of its ingredients.

Inform your doctor if you have signs of infection (fever, chills, sore throat), liver or kidney problems, or sugar intolerances.

Seek medical attention immediately if you experience dry cough, chest pain, or difficulty breathing, as these may indicate lung inflammation.

Inform your doctor of all medications, supplements, and herbal products you are taking before starting treatment.

Use effective birth control during treatment and for at least three weeks after the last dose.

Not recommended for children or adolescents under 18 years.

Substitute: Palborest 100mg Tablet (generic palbociclib) can be used as an alternative.
