Lengis 4mg Capsule contains the active ingredient Lenvatinib and is classified as a tyrosine kinase inhibitor. It is prescribed for progressive or advanced thyroid cancer when radioactive iodine therapy is not effective. It is also used to treat liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma) in patients who have not received prior treatment and are not suitable candidates for surgery.

Anaplastic thyroid carcinoma (advanced thyroid cancer) usually affects patients over 60 years of age. It is marked by a hard, enlarged thyroid gland and hoarseness due to nerve involvement in the voice box. Hepatocellular carcinoma often develops in individuals with pre-existing liver conditions, such as cirrhosis or chronic hepatitis B infection.

Patients who are allergic to Lenvatinib or any component of Lengis 4mg Capsule should avoid this medication. It is important to inform your dentist or oral surgeon before any procedures, as Lenvatinib may impair wound healing and increase the risk of bleeding

RTKs are present in high concentrations in cancer cells, and administration of this medicine slows down the rate of cancer cells’ growth and multiplication.
