Lenvanib 4mg Capsule contains Lenvatinib, a tyrosine kinase inhibitor. It is prescribed for:

Progressive or advanced thyroid cancer, particularly when radioactive iodine therapy is ineffective.

Previously untreated liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma) in patients who are not candidates for surgical treatment.

About the Conditions:

Anaplastic thyroid carcinoma generally affects individuals over 60 years old. Symptoms include an enlarged, firm thyroid gland and hoarseness caused by nerve involvement in the voice box.

Hepatocellular carcinoma can develop in patients with preexisting liver conditions, such as cirrhosis or chronic hepatitis B infection.

RTKs are present in high concentrations in cancer cells, and administration of this medicine slows down the rate of cancer cells’ growth and multiplication.
