Introduction to Cabzored 40mg Tablet

Cabzored 40mg is an anticancer medication containing Cabozantinib, which belongs to the tyrosine kinase inhibitor class. In adults, it is used to treat:

Advanced kidney cancer (often given with Nivolumab)

Locally advanced or metastatic differentiated thyroid cancer

Liver cancer when Sorafenib is no longer effective

This medicine is not recommended for individuals under 18 years of age.

Who Should Avoid Cabzored 40mg
Do not take this tablet if you are allergic to Cabozantinib or any of its ingredients.

Precautions
Before starting treatment, inform your doctor if you have:

Liver disease

Inflammatory bowel disease

High blood pressure or heart disease

Diarrhea

A history of blood clots in the legs, significant bleeding, aneurysm, or tears in blood vessel walls

Also inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or have concerns about fertility. Use effective contraception during treatment and for at least four months after your last dose.

Other Important Information

If you have thyroid problems, your thyroid function should be checked before starting treatment.

Inform your doctor if you have had surgery, including dental procedures, in the past month.

Avoid grapefruit or grapefruit juice, as they may increase the amount of medicine in your blood.

This tablet contains lactose. If you have sugar intolerance, discuss this with your doctor before taking the medicine.

It acts against a protein called receptor tyrosine kinases and interferes with cell signaling, ultimately stopping the growth and spread of cancer cells. Cabzored 40mg is indicated alone or in combination with Nivolumab.

Interaction of Cabzored 40mg Tablet with other drugs

Inform your doctor about any prescribed medications, over-the-counter medicines, nutritional or vitamin supplements, and herbal products you take or have taken before the treatment. Certain medications such as antibiotics, St, John's Wort, Aliskiren and other medicine may interact with Cabzored 40mg and can cause undesirable side effects.
