Introduction to Cabdual 40mg Tablet

Cabdual 40mg Tablet is an antineoplastic medication containing the active ingredient Cabozantinib. It belongs to the class of drugs known as tyrosine kinase inhibitors. In adults, it is used to treat advanced kidney cancer and locally advanced or metastatic differentiated thyroid cancer. It is also prescribed for liver cancer when Sorafenib is no longer effective. For advanced kidney cancer, Cabdual is often used in combination with Nivolumab. This medicine is not recommended for individuals under 18 years of age.

Do not take Cabdual 40mg if you are allergic to Cabozantinib or any of the other ingredients in the tablet. Inform your doctor if you have liver disease, inflammatory bowel disease, high blood pressure, heart disease, or diarrhea. Make sure your doctor is aware of any history of blood clots in the leg, major bleeding, aneurysm (inflammation of blood vessels), or blood vessel tears.

Women should inform their physician if they are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding. Use effective contraception during treatment and for at least four months after the last dose. Discuss any fertility concerns with your doctor.

Before starting Cabdual 40mg, notify your physician if you have a thyroid disorder, as thyroid function should be checked before beginning treatment. Also, inform your doctor if you have had surgery, including dental procedures, within the last month. Avoid grapefruit or grapefruit juice, as these can increase the level of the medication in your blood.

This medicine contains lactose. If you have lactose intolerance or other sugar sensitivities, speak with your doctor before taking Cabdual 40mg.

It acts against a protein called receptor tyrosine kinases and interferes with cell signaling, ultimately stopping the growth and spread of cancer cells. Cabdual 40mg is indicated alone or in combination with Nivolumab.

Inform your doctor about any prescribed medications, over-the-counter medicines, nutritional or vitamin supplements, and herbal products you take or have taken before the treatment. Certain medications such as antibiotics, St, John's Wort, Aliskiren, and other medications may interact with Cabdual 40mg and can cause undesirable side effects.
