Bdparp tablet is an antiviral medication that falls under the category of polyadenosine diphosphate-ribose polymerase (PARP) inhibitors. Its active ingredient is Olaparib. This drug is prescribed for treating certain types of pancreatic cancer and prostate cancer (note: it is also commonly used for ovarian, breast, and other cancers depending on specific genetic markers like BRCA mutations).
Cancer involves the uncontrolled and abnormal growth of cells. Bdparp can be administered on its own or alongside other anticancer therapies.
Contact your doctor right away if you notice symptoms such as shortness of breath, chest pain, a fast heartbeat, fever, coughing, or wheezing. Your doctor will perform blood tests prior to starting treatment and monthly thereafter, since this medication may lower red blood cell (RBC), white blood cell (WBC), and platelet counts.
