Apatide tablet contains Apalutamide as its active ingredient. It is an anti-cancer medication belonging to the androgen receptor inhibitor class. It is used to treat certain types of prostate cancer, including cancer that has spread to other parts of the body and continues to respond to medical or surgical treatments that lower testosterone levels, as well as cancer that has not spread but no longer responds to testosterone-lowering therapies.

Apatide works by blocking the action of androgens (male reproductive hormones), thereby slowing or preventing the growth and spread of cancer cells. Patients should inform their physician if they experience symptoms such as chest pain, indigestion, signs of a heart attack, difficulty walking, or numbness in the face or body.

This medicine is not recommended for use during pregnancy, as it may harm the unborn baby. Apatide can be taken with or without food. It may affect male fertility; therefore, men should avoid fathering a child or donating sperm during treatment and for at least 3 months after the final dose. Effective birth control methods should be used during this period.
