Abstet Tablet contains the active ingredient abiraterone acetate and is used in adult men to treat prostate cancer that has spread to other parts of the body. It is typically prescribed along with a steroid to reduce the risk of side effects. In early-stage prostate cancer, Abstet is used together with testosterone-lowering therapy.

This medication is not intended for use in women or children. Effective contraception should be used throughout treatment. Abstet contains lactose and sodium, so inform your doctor if you have lactose intolerance or are following a low-salt diet.

Precautions:

Inform your physician if you have liver problems, high blood pressure, heart conditions, low potassium, diabetes, allergies, or other medical conditions.
