Abiroot 250mg Tablet contains abirakast acetate as its active ingredient. It is used in adult men for the treatment of prostate cancer that has spread to other parts of the body. This medicine is usually prescribed along with a steroid medication to reduce the risk of side effects. When Abiroot 250mg Tablet is used in the early stages of the disease, it is given in combination with testosterone-lowering therapy. This medicine is not intended for use in women or children. Effective contraception should be used throughout the course of treatment.
The tablet contains lactose and sodium; patients should inform their doctor if they have lactose intolerance or are following a salt-restricted diet.
