Tecentriq 1200 mg Injection is an anticancer medication containing the active ingredient atezolizumab, which belongs to a class of medicines called monoclonal antibodies (mAb). Monoclonal antibodies are proteins designed to attach to specific targets in the body and help the immune system fight cancer. Tecentriq is used to treat bladder, lung, liver, and breast cancers.

This medicine may be given as adjuvant therapy (after surgery) for lung cancer when the disease has not spread to other parts of the body. Tecentriq can be used alone or in combination with other anticancer treatments.

Do not take Tecentriq 1200 mg Injection if you are allergic to atezolizumab or any other ingredients in the medication. This medicine is not recommended for children or adolescents.

Notify your doctor immediately if you experience any symptoms of inflammation in the lungs, liver, intestines, thyroid, adrenal glands, or pituitary gland, as your physician may prescribe medications to prevent complications and manage symptoms.

Before starting Tecentriq, inform your doctor if you have or have ever had:

Autoimmune diseases (where the body attacks its own cells)

HIV infection or AIDS

Pneumonitis (lung inflammation)

Chronic viral liver infections such as hepatitis B or C

Also, tell your doctor if you have received live vaccines, antibiotics within the last two weeks, or medicines that affect your immune system.

If you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, discuss this with your doctor. Use effective contraception during treatment and for at least five months after the last dose.
