This medication is prescribed for gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST), a rare type of cancer that can develop anywhere in the gastrointestinal tract. It is also used to treat advanced kidney cancer and pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (PNET). Cancer occurs when abnormal cells grow uncontrollably. This medicine is not recommended for individuals under 18 years of age.

Before taking Sutenamo 25 mg Tablet, inform your doctor if you have blood disorders, heart disease, liver or kidney problems, skin conditions, diabetes, seizures, or thyroid disorders. Also let your doctor know if you have recently had surgery or are planning to undergo surgery. Patients with high blood pressure should discuss this with their physician, as this medication can sometimes increase blood pressure.
