Ruparib 200 mg Tablet contains rucaparib, an anticancer medication that belongs to the class of PARP (poly ADP-ribose polymerase) inhibitors. It is used as maintenance therapy for adults with certain types of ovarian cancer, fallopian tube cancer, and primary peritoneal cancer, particularly when the disease has returned but previously responded fully or partially to chemotherapy.

This medicine is also prescribed for patients with specific BRCA gene mutations who have already undergone at least two prior chemotherapy treatments. It may also be used as maintenance therapy immediately after chemotherapy that has successfully reduced tumor size.

Do not take Ruparib 200 mg Tablet if you are allergic to rucaparib or any of its ingredients. This medication can lower blood cell counts, so your doctor will recommend blood tests before starting treatment and periodically (usually monthly) during therapy.

Contact your healthcare provider if you experience nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or abdominal pain, as this medicine may affect your digestive system. Ruparib 200 mg Tablet is not recommended for children or adolescents under 18 years of age.
