Ribaxa+ 150 mg Tablet contains Olaparib, an anticancer medicine classified as a PARP (poly ADP-ribose polymerase) inhibitor. It is prescribed for the treatment of pancreatic cancer and prostate cancer. Depending on your condition, it may be used alone or in combination with other cancer therapies.

Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to olaparib or any of the other ingredients in the formulation. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience symptoms such as shortness of breath, chest discomfort, fast heartbeat, fever, persistent cough, or wheezing.

Your doctor will arrange blood tests before starting treatment and regularly (usually every month) during therapy, as this medicine may lower red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelet levels. Inform your healthcare provider before beginning treatment if you have a history of lung, liver, heart, or kidney disorders.

This medication should not be used during pregnancy, as it may harm the unborn baby or lead to miscarriage.
