Palbonamo 125 mg Capsule is a targeted anticancer medication that contains palbociclib as its active ingredient. It belongs to a class of drugs known as cyclin-dependent kinase (CDK) inhibitors. This medicine is used to treat hormone receptor-positive (HR+), human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-negative (HER2βˆ’) advanced or metastatic breast cancer, which is cancer that has spread to other parts of the body. Cancer develops when cells grow and multiply in an uncontrolled and abnormal manner. Palbonamo is usually prescribed in combination with other anticancer medicines.

Common side effects associated with Palbonamo 125 mg Capsule include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, fatigue, hair loss, dry skin, rash, infections, nosebleeds, reduced appetite, low blood cell counts, swelling of the lips and mouth, changes in taste, dry eyes, blurred vision, and increased tearing. Inform your doctor if any of these side effects become severe or do not go away.

Before starting this medication, tell your healthcare provider if you are allergic to palbociclib or any of the other ingredients in the capsule. It is important to inform your doctor if you have signs of infection (such as fever, chills, or sore throat), liver or kidney problems, or certain sugar intolerances.

Concurrent use of Palbonamo 125mg Capsule with CYP3A4 inhibitors such as fentanyl has reported increased fentanyl toxicity. certain medications may interact with the effectiveness of this drug.
