Gem RTU 200gm injection is a chemotherapy medication that contains the active ingredient gemcitabine. It is used to treat various cancers, including bladder, breast, ovarian, pancreatic, and non-small cell lung cancers. Cancer is characterized by the uncontrolled and abnormal growth of cells.

Before starting this treatment, inform your doctor if you have a history of heart disease, liver or kidney problems, recent radiotherapy, or if you have received vaccinations.

Gem RTU 200gm injection is not recommended for adolescents or children under 18 years of age. Your healthcare provider will monitor your blood cell counts, as well as kidney and liver function, each time you receive this medication. Use effective contraception throughout the treatment period and for at least six months after the last dose. The medication may affect fertility in male patients, so men are advised not to father a child during treatment and for six months afterward.
