Gem RTU 1.4gm injection is a chemotherapy drug that contains the active ingredient gemcitabine. It is used to treat various cancers, including bladder, breast, ovarian, pancreatic, and non-small cell lung cancers. Cancer involves the uncontrolled and abnormal multiplication of cells.

Before using this medication, inform your doctor if you have a history of heart disease, liver or kidney problems, recent radiotherapy, or have received vaccinations.

Gem RTU 1.4gm injection is not suitable for adolescents or children under 18 years of age. Your healthcare provider will monitor your blood cell counts, as well as kidney and liver function, each time you receive this treatment. Use effective contraception during the course of treatment and for at least six months afterward. It may affect fertility in male patients, so men are advised not to father a child during treatment and for six months following the last dose.
