Gazyva 1000mg injection contains the active ingredient Obinutuzumab. It is an anticancer medication classified as an Anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody. Gazyva is used in combination with other cancer treatments to manage chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL) in adult patients. It works by destroying cancer cells and preventing their growth.

Do not use Gazyva 1000mg injection if you are allergic to obinutuzumab or any other component of this medicine. Please inform your doctor if you have an active infection, a history of infections, a weakened immune system, or any heart, brain, eye, breathing, or liver conditions.

Report immediately to your healthcare provider if you experience symptoms such as sudden difficulty breathing, dizziness, diarrhea, cough, skin rash, chest pain, or fever after receiving the injection.

Let your doctor know if you develop symptoms like memory loss, trouble speaking, difficulty walking, or vision problems during treatment, as these could be signs of rare but serious side effects. This medication is not suitable for children or adolescents under 18 years of age.

The affected cells multiply too quickly and survive longer. Gazyva 1000mg injection binds to CD20 targets on the surface of the affected B-lymphocyte cells and causes them to die. When the injection is administered to the patient with other anticancer medicines, this slows down the progression time of the disease and works effectively by killing the abnormal cancer cells.
