Evelis 5mg Tablet is an anticancer medication classified as an mTOR kinase inhibitor, with the active ingredient everolimus. It is used to treat advanced breast cancer, renal cell carcinoma, pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors, and subependymal giant cell astrocytoma (a type of tumor found in the brain's ventricles). Maintaining good oral hygiene and having regular dental check-ups are important during treatment, as this medication can cause mouth sores or ulcers. It is often used in combination with cyclophosphamide, an alkylating agent, to treat subependymal giant cell astrocytoma.

Before starting this medication, be aware that it can increase your risk of bacterial or viral infections. If you have a history of Hepatitis B, Evelis 5mg Tablet may raise the chances of reactivation. Inform your healthcare provider if you experience symptoms such as fever, chills, cough, yellowing of the skin, joint pain, or swelling during treatment.
