Epichlor 50mg Injection contains the active ingredient Epirubicin Hydrochloride, an antineoplastic agent classified as an anthracycline. This medication is used primarily for breast cancer, including as adjuvant therapy in combination with other treatments following surgical removal of the tumor. It is also effective in treating cancers of the breast, ovaries, stomach, intestines, and lungs. Additionally, it is utilized for cancers of blood-forming tissues such as malignant lymphomas, leukemias, and multiple myeloma.

Do not use this injection if you are allergic to Epirubicin or any other component of the medicine, pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have severe liver or bladder issues. Before starting treatment, inform your doctor if you have kidney or liver problems, recent vaccinations, or if you are experiencing acute conditions like mouth inflammation, low white blood cell or platelet counts, or infections. This medication may also increase the risk of blood clots.

Please note: Epichlor injection may cause infertility in both men and women. If you are planning pregnancy, discuss this with your healthcare provider. If you are sexually active, it is recommended to use effective contraception to prevent pregnancy. Your doctor will conduct regular blood tests to monitor the effects of this treatment.
