Enzoshil 80mg Tablet contains the active ingredient enzalutamide, an anti-cancer medication classified as an androgen receptor inhibitor. It is used to treat advanced prostate cancer in patients who do not respond to surgical or hormonal therapies.

Do not take this medication if you are allergic to enzalutamide or any of its components. During treatment, your doctor may perform regular monitoring through Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) tests, which measure the levels of PSA, a protein produced by the prostate gland that can be elevated in men with prostate cancer. These tests help assess the disease’s progression and how well the treatment is working. Additional tests such as liver function tests and complete blood counts (CBC) may also be conducted to detect potential complications.

Enzoshil 80mg may cause seizures; therefore, caution is advised for individuals with a history of seizures. Avoid consuming grapefruit or grapefruit juice during treatment, as they can increase the medication's concentration in your bloodstream. This medication is not suitable for use during pregnancy, as it can harm the developing fetus and may affect fertility. If you have concerns about fertility, discuss them with your healthcare provider before starting therapy.

Before beginning treatment, inform your healthcare provider if you are pregnant or planning to conceive. Both men and women should use effective contraceptive methods during treatment and for three months after the final dose of Enzoshil 80mg Tablet.

It works by inhibiting the active form of testosterone, called dihydrotestosterone. It selectively blocks the androgen receptors and disrupts the translocation of signals from the receptor to the cell. Thus, the androgen hormone does not bind to the androgen receptors and these androgen receptors do not interact with DNA. This blocks the functioning of cancer cells and reduces its multiplication.
