Doxorex PL 2mg Injection is an anticancer medication containing the active ingredient doxorubicin, which is encapsulated in a liposome (closed lipid sphere) to improve delivery and reduce side effects. Cancer is a condition in which cells grow and multiply in an uncontrolled and abnormal manner.

This injection is used to treat breast cancer, ovarian cancer, multiple myeloma (a type of cancer affecting plasma cells in the blood), and AIDS-related Kaposi’s sarcoma. Individuals with HIV are at a higher risk of developing Kaposi’s sarcoma, a cancer that affects the lining of lymph and blood vessels. Doxorex PL 2mg Injection may be administered alone or in combination with other anticancer medications and is not recommended for children or adolescents.

Precautions:

Use effective contraception during treatment and for at least six months after the last dose.

Inform your doctor if you are allergic to peanuts or soy, have heart or liver conditions, diabetes, Kaposi’s sarcoma, or oral problems, or are taking any other medications before starting treatment with Doxorex PL 2mg Injection.

This prevents the growth and multiplication of cancer cells. The unique formulation process of Doxorex PL 2mg Injection increases the time this medicine is circulating in the blood. It also helps deliver drugs from blood to the cancerous tissue rather than the healthy tissue.
