Darzalex Faspro 1800 mg Injection is a targeted cancer therapy containing the active ingredient daratumumab, which belongs to a class of medicines called monoclonal antibodies. Monoclonal antibodies are proteins that specifically recognize and attach to cancer cells, helping to destroy them. This medicine is used to treat multiple myeloma (a type of bone marrow cancer) in adults aged 18 years or older.

Before starting treatment, inform your doctor if you have ever had hepatitis B, as this medicine may reactivate the virus. Darzalex Faspro can reduce platelet counts (which help blood clot) and white blood cell counts (which help fight infections).

Do not use Darzalex Faspro 1800 mg Injection if you are allergic to daratumumab or any other ingredients in this medicine. This medicine is not recommended for children or adolescents. Inform your doctor immediately if you experience infusion-related reactions, such as swelling of the face, lips, mouth, tongue, or throat. If these occur, your infusion may be slowed, paused, or stopped, and additional medications may be given.
