Dacoplice 45 mg Tablet contains dacomitinib as its active ingredient. It is an antineoplastic medicine belonging to the class of tyrosine kinase inhibitors. This medicine is used as a first-line treatment in adults with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that has spread to other parts of the body, particularly when testing shows specific changes in the EGFR (epidermal growth factor receptor) gene.

Do not take Dacoplice 45 mg Tablet if you are allergic to dacomitinib or any of the other ingredients in this medicine. Before starting treatment, inform your doctor if you have any lung problems, as some lung conditions may worsen during therapy.

Contact your doctor immediately if you develop diarrhoea, skin rash, or signs of liver problems, such as yellowing of the skin or eyes, dark urine, or pale-coloured stools.

This medicine is not recommended for children or adolescents under 18 years of age. Inform your doctor if you have heart disease, liver disorders, or kidney problems before starting treatment.

Common side effects include skin rash, nail changes, mouth sores, loss of appetite, dry skin, weight loss, hair thinning, cough, and severe itching. Dacoplice 45 mg Tablet is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
