Introduction to Comcapsy 400mg/20mg Tablet 7's

Comcapsy Tablet is a chemotherapy medicine that contains Capecitabine and Cyclophosphamide as its active ingredients. It belongs to a class of drugs known as nucleoside metabolic inhibitors and alkylating agents. This medication is used along with other anticancer treatments to manage metastatic colorectal cancer and breast cancer.

Cancer is a condition in which cells grow and divide uncontrollably. Comcapsy Tablet is also prescribed to help reduce the risk of colon cancer returning after a tumor has been completely removed through surgery.

Loss of appetite

Headache

Runny nose

Fever

Hair loss

Dry mouth

During therapy, your doctor may regularly check your complete blood counts (CBC), prothrombin time (PT), and INR levels to help prevent serious complications.

Comcapsy Tablet is prescribed alone and also in combination with other anticancer medications like Docetaxel and Oxaliplatin. It stops the growth of cancer cells by inhibiting DNA synthesis. This drug gets converted into its active form called fluorouracil and interferes with cell signaling, ultimately preventing the multiplication of cancer cells.

How to consume Comcapsy 400mg/20mg Tablet 7's

Take a Comcapsy Tablet as prescribed by your doctor. Do not crush or chew the tablet. If you miss a dose of this tablet, take it as soon as you can if it is within 12 hours of the missed dose. If it is over 12 hours since your missed dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your usual dosing times to avoid taking double doses. Call your doctor to ask about making up the missed dose.
