Bevatas 100 mg Injection contains bevacizumab, an anticancer medication designed to inhibit the growth and spread of tumors. It works by blocking the formation of new blood vessels that supply nutrients to cancer cells. This injection is commonly used in combination with other chemotherapy medicines to treat various cancers, including metastatic breast cancer, brain cancer, cervical cancer, kidney cancer, lung cancer, and colorectal cancer.

It is also prescribed for cancers of the ovary, fallopian tube, and primary peritoneal cancer. Effective contraception should be used during treatment and for at least six months after the final dose. Bevatas 100 mg Injection is not recommended for children and adolescents under 18 years of age.

Women who are planning a pregnancy should discuss fertility preservation options with their doctor before starting treatment, as this medicine may affect ovarian function and fertility. Breastfeeding should be avoided during therapy, as the drug may interfere with the baby’s growth and development.

Bevatas 100mg Injection is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody that works as a targeted therapy in the treatment of various advanced cancers. It produces its action by selectively binding to the protein called vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF-A), present in the lining of blood and lymph vessels in the body. It interrupts the interaction of VEGF-A with its receptors. This further inhibits the formation of blood vessels that supply oxygen and nutrients to the tumor. As a result, it slows down the rate of progression of cancer.
