Bdparp tablet contains olaparib as its active ingredient and belongs to the class of medicines known as PARP (poly ADP-ribose polymerase) inhibitors. It is an anticancer drug used in the treatment of pancreatic and prostate cancers. Cancer is a condition in which abnormal cells grow and divide uncontrollably. This medicine may be prescribed either alone or in combination with other anticancer treatments.

Seek medical attention immediately if you experience symptoms such as shortness of breath, chest pain, rapid heartbeat, fever, cough, or wheezing. Because this medicine can lower red blood cell, white blood cell, and platelet counts, your healthcare provider will arrange blood tests before starting therapy and then on a monthly basis during treatment. Inform your doctor before beginning this medicine if you have any existing lung, liver, heart, or kidney disorders.

Bdparp tablet is not recommended during pregnancy, as it may cause harm to the unborn baby and increase the risk of miscarriage. Women of childbearing potential are advised to undergo a pregnancy test before starting treatment and to use effective contraception during therapy and for at least six months after completing treatment. Breastfeeding should be avoided while taking this medicine, as it is not known whether Bdparp passes into breast milk.
