Bandrone 150 mg tablet is a bisphosphonate medication containing Ibandronic acid as its active ingredient. It is primarily prescribed for the treatment of osteoporosis, particularly in postmenopausal women. Osteoporosis commonly develops after menopause due to a decline in estrogen levels, which weakens the bones. This medicine helps slow or reverse bone loss and reduces the risk of fractures.

Do not take Bandrone 150 mg tablet if you are allergic to ibandronic acid or any of its other components. Consult your doctor before using this medication if you are unable to sit or stand upright for at least one hour, or if you have a history of low calcium levels in the blood.

Before starting treatment, inform your doctor if you have any dental or oral health issues such as gum disease, poor dental hygiene, planned tooth extraction, or if you have not received regular dental care for a long time. Let your healthcare provider know if you smoke, as this may increase the risk of dental complications.
