Abiratred 500mg Tablet contains the active ingredient abiraterone acetate. It is used in adult men to treat prostate cancer that has spread to other parts of the body. The tablet is usually prescribed with a steroid medication to reduce the risk of side effects. In cases of early-stage prostate cancer, Abiratred is given alongside testosterone-lowering therapy.

This medicine is not for use in women or children. Effective contraception must be used throughout treatment. Abiratred contains lactose and sodium, so inform your doctor if you have lactose intolerance or are on a low-salt diet.

Precautions:
